Chilly April on the Oregon Coast

Lots of stormy weather.Lincoln City had snow - snow! - Sunday. First snow in over ten years in April. Freakish. This is my nuke gauge.

There are many like it. But this one is mine.

They call me...The Dirt Nanny.

Criminy!! Whatever happened to slump testing? And is that blue sky I see in the background? Are there any negative implications of testing during dry wx? But then, the Oregon coast is never truly dry. It is pouring cats and dogs in coastal Washington today. Local forecasts are for rain thru Friday night.

PS - In any case, stay out of the casino.

Is it ever not "chilly" on the Oregon coast?

How's the arthritis doing, Chief?

Mike: I don't have the building-and-pavement part of this one, just the walls (thank God - grding has been a real nightmare) so no slump cones and concrete cylinders for me, thanks!

And yeah, I avoid all the damn casinos. I'd sure trade 'em for one decent meal, tho. There's only so many times you can eat at the "Pig n' Pancake".

Publius: August. It can be warm in August.

And let's just say that with the love of Jesus in my heart and about four shots of caffeine the first walk up the hill in the morning is mighty freakin' slow and leave it at that, eh?
